In Yalta, within the framework of the XI International Festival of Russian and Slavic Culture “The Great Russian Word” under the leadership of the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, the III International Livadia Forum ended.

According to the press service of the Yalta Administration, the theme of the Forum was the support of the Russian language, the languages ​​of the peoples of Russia, increasing the role of the Russian language in the development of integration processes in the post-Soviet space, the development of a common cultural and humanitarian space.

Scientists, cultural figures, members of public organizations, representatives of leading universities in Russia and 60 countries of the world, including Afghanistan, Vietnam, India, Kyrgyzstan, China, Serbia and Switzerland, took part in the events of the forum.
